Animation Demo Reel

This is my Animation Demo Reel for the Fall 2009 semester. It has various pieces that I worked on including Subway station, Haunted House, Justified Films intro, and Alley. I work in Maya 2009. I spent this semester exploring environment modeling, texturing, and lighting. Enjoy!

Final Justified Films 3D Intro

I've finally finished the render for my Justified Films Intro. I created the entire intro in Maya 2009, and rendered it over the entire weekend. Let me know what you think.

Justified Films 3D Intro

I've just recently completed my first 3D animation project in a about 2 1/2 months. The project was for a buddy of mine at USF, Ryan Justice and his film production called Justified Films. I've put some screenshots up for you all to view and I hope you like them. I will be posting the video of the playblast, so that you can see the movement of what the final product will look like, and the screenshots will show you the texturing and lighting. In this project I was able to explore lighting in this scene and uncovered Shadow Radius and Filter Size to allow the shadows cast no to be defined but rather somewhat blurred. Please leave comments to let me know what you think.

Work Flow

So, lately I've had a good run in with some graphic design work! I've just finished a buddy, Clint Mourino, of mine's movie poster for Underhanded which premieres at the Black Box Film Festival tomorrow night. I also was lucky enough to be asked to do the screening program for the awards night of the film festival, as well. It's been great to get the work and I really hope it keeps coming my way!
